Thermaltake ISGC-300 CPU Cooler Review

ISGC-300 Overview

The Thermaltake ISGC-300 is the third of four reviews we’ll be doing here at Think Computers for the Thermaltake ISGC CPUC Cooler line. Like the other Inspiration of Silent Gaming Cooling Coolers the ISGC-300 offers the ISGC Silent fan, Ultimate Copper+ Base and sawtooth tower fins. The Silent Fan offers a unique design which increases airflow by 15% and reduces noise by 3%.

The stack of 33 sawtooth fins measures in a little larger than the ISGC-200, mainly because the fan is resting on the outside of the fins to blow cool air over the entire set of fins. The single stack is rectangular in shape and provides a smoother cold air intake for maximum cooling performance.

Rising through the stack of fins are four 6mm copper heatpipes. Evenly spaced apart the four heatpipes run through the set of fins twice and are capped with plastic knobs.

The heatpipes are evenly spaced apart upon entering the set of fins, but first become angled near the base of the cooler.

The highly polished copper base provides optimal heat transfer between the CPU and the four copper heatpipes.
