It has finally been revealed by Microsoft that the Halo: Spartan Assault is going to be coming for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. After so much anticipation and so many speculations regarding the game, the truth has finally been unveiled by Microsoft.
Games with Gold, the Xbox 360 monthly free game promo by Microsoft is said to have been extended indefinitely. This is Microsoft’s strategy to tackle with the intense competition which it faced from Sony due to its initiative towards the PlayStation 3 and Vita.

Battlefield 4 has been officially announced on Battlefield’s Facebook Page. It will launch October 29th of this year. Of course I know most of you reading this will be getting it for the PC, but it will also be available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. The Battlefield team has also revealed that the game will be made available for the recently announced Xbox One console as well. So expect to see that later down the line.
Microsoft has just sent out invitations and Major Nelson has released on his blog that Microsoft has announced an Xbox event for May 21 2013, ahead of E3. As many people expect the event will be focused on the companies next-generation Xbox console. No word yet on specifics, but the event will take place at on Xbox’s own campus, and will “mark the beginning of a new generation of games, TV and entertainment” according to Major Nelson.

Microsoft has just released news of a new accessories pack for Xbox 360, which they are calling the Xbox Essentials Pack. The pack includes a wireless controller, media remote, HDMI cable, and 3 month Xbox Live Gold membership. Available in October the Xbox Essentials pack will hit retail with a price of $79.99, which Microsoft says saves you $55 over the price of each accessory individually.
I’m sure by now you have heard of Epic Games, they are the creators of the very popular Unreal series, the Unreal Engine that powers many PC games and one of the most popular franchises on the Xbox 360, Gears of War. We stopped by the Sennheiser booth to check out their new gaming headphones. In the video, they showed us the PC360, an open air headphone, with noise canceling, and includes a noise canceling microphone. It is in stores now at $249. We also checked out the Xbox 360 version of the headset as well, the X320. It’s only a wired gaming headset, no wireless version for 2012. It also features noise canceling for the headset and mic. The sound quality is definitely awesome and these headsets are both worth the value.
