Buffalo unveiled this week its AirStation AC433 Travel Router, a tiny device offering big bandwidth. The AC433 is 1.75 inches square and is powered via USB. Its throughput is 433 Mbps on the 802.11ac 5 GHz band or 150 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz/5 GHz 802.11n band, selectable via a hardware switch.
TRENDnet announced this week its new flagship router, the TEW-818DRU, an AC1900 wireless router with a USB port. It offers up to 1.3 Gbps throughput on the 5 GHz 802.11ac band and 600 Mbps throughput on the 2.4 or 5 GHz N band.
We met up with Belkin at CES Unveiled, where they were showing off the shiny new Linksys WRT1900AC, one of the first new wireless products released under the 25 year old brand since Belkin acquired Linksys from Cisco in March 2013.
