It has rightly been reported that the firm is currently busy with the rolling out of its newest range of water blocks which have exclusively been designed for the all new ASUS Republic of Gamers Rampage IV Black Edition X79 LGA-2011 motherboard. And as the water blocks are still going through their development process, we will have to wait for a while till they are officially made available by the middle of next month.
The company has released the Radeon R9 290X Water Block which is a full cover water block and has exclusively been designed for the Radeon R9 290X which is AMD’s very own flagship card. This water block has been codenamed as the VID-AR290X and has been fashioned out of solid copper which also features the nickel-plating which ensures that extra protection is being given.
Aqua Computer has just announced their latest full cover water block, the Kryographics Hawaii, which is meant for AMD Radeon R9 290X graphics cards. The block we are referring to here is entirely going to be made in Germany and it has been revealed that this will be milled from 1kg high-purity electrolytic copper raw material, covering the GPU, the voltage regulators and also all the RAM chips.
Currently, ASUS has two different designs of the of R9280X-DC2(T) series graphics cards and one of them being the initial versions, namely the ASUS R9280X-DC2(T)-3GD5-V2, extends full compatibility with EK-FC7970 DCII water block. On the other hand, the ASUS R9280X-DC2(T)-3GD5 has been redesigned hence it cannot offer compatibility right away.
