Citigroup, you know the investment bank guys, well according to a report of theirs that the China Times got their hands on Apple will unveil its iPhone 5S in early September along with a low-cost model for emerging markets. The note also says that 2013 will mark the first time Apple will introduce not one, but two fresh iPhone versions. Both the iPhone 5S and the cheaper version will launch in September.
It seems like time goes by so quickly. It has already been a year since Apple founder Steve Jobs lost his fight with pancreatic cancer on October 5, 2011. While he is gone he is definitely not forgotten. Some say without his vision and business savvy we would have never seen personal computers. And no one can argue that Steve gave the best Keynote speeches and presentations. He had a way to captivate the audience unlike anyone else. If you purchased a new iPhone 5, or upgraded your current iPhone to iOS 6 you noticed that your Maps apps is not longer a Google app, but Apple’s own. Many people are unhappy with these maps and really think that they should have stuck with Google. Now Apple is admitting that their Maps app is not up to snuff. In an open letter to the Apple faithful Apple CEO Tim Cook apologized for not delivering a “World Class” product and suggested using competitors products from the likes of Bing, MapQuest, Google and Nokia, at least until Apple sorts this mess out.
