It has been confirmed that a 32-year old man has died after playing 72 hours of non-stop games at an internet cafe Taiwan without taking a single break during his long gaming session. The man known as Hsieh was found motionless in he chair according to a report by the Taipei Times. The incident happened last week, but the press only caught wind of the story on Friday. Many gamers who were around Hsieh in the internet cafe thought he was just sleeping after his massive gaming binge, but one of the employees of the internet cafe noticed that he was not breathing. Once Hsieh was taken to the hospital he was pronounced dead.
Tt eSPORTS, Thermaltake’s gaming division which specializes in mice, keyboards and headsets specifically promoted for gaming has opened its first retail store in downtown Taipei on a joint venture basis with Super A Electronic, the operator of the Studio A retail chain of Apple products in Taiwan, and Taiwan Tea Corporation (TTC), according to Thermaltake.
