While the big story of CES was Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Carbon they also took the time to announce their Miix 2 Hybrid Laptop / Tablet. The Miix 2 is the ideal solution for someone who frequently uses both a laptop and a tablet.
Lenovo was showing a very cool and powerful business tablet at CES. The ThinkPad 8 is Lenovo’s first 8-inch business tablet and comes loaded with Windows 8.1 and Microsoft Office. Given its form factor, screen size and features this seems to be a best in class tablet in the 8-inch size.
The RAM of merely 512MB on the previous iPad mini was quite low and was the source of many problems. We know that the iOS does not require a larger RAM but this was still insufficient. The disappointing thing is that the iPad mini retina is featuring the same 512 MB of RAM.

The image had been leaked by a source which remains unknown and this gets us to believing that the leaks would have made their way to other sites on the internet. This rendered image displayed by the PhoneArena is quite different as compared to the current version of the Nexus 10 tablet.

Sharp Corporation, a Japanese based manufacturer of electronics, surprises the world at the CEATEC show in Japan with the introduction of its Mebius Pad; Sharp’s very own Windows 8 tablet. Sharp has kicked off with its extraordinary performance with this newest tablet and the Mebius Pad surely breaks through the clutter with its resolution display of 2,560 x 1,600. This is quite dominant in the pool of other Windows 8 tablets as they all have max resolution of 1080p.
