This year at CES OCZ was showing off their newly announced RevoDrive 400 NVMe PCI-Express solid state drive. Since OCZ is a Toshiba-owned company they are taking advantage of Toshiba’s NVMe controller technology with the new RevoDrive 400.

Mushkin was able to solve this by basically putting two Reactor 2TB solid state drives on a single PCB. The drives are then joined together via JBOD with a separate controller.
Portable storage has taken many faces throughout history from 5.25″ floppies to portable hard drives.
