Sapphire originally released their R9 280X Vapor-X back when the R9 280X’s were launched. The card was factory overclocked and featured Sapphire’s Dual-X cooler. Well Sapphire is releasing a new version of the card that makes use of Sapphire’s own exclusive Vapor-X cooling with its new Tri-X triple fan design. This should keep the Tahiti GPU nice a cool. On top of that this card is again factory overclocked, features Black Diamond chokes and a full Solid Cap design, and has dual BIOS support. Is this the R9 280X that you are looking for? Read on as we take a look…
Well it looks like Sapphire is working on not only one, but two new Radeon R9 290X’s with 8GB of video memory! These are the Radeon R9 290X Toxic and the R9 290X Vapor-X 8GB. These will be the first consumer (non-professional) graphics cards with 8GB of video memory!
Sapphire’s R7 250 Ultimate graphics card is unlike most other R7 250’s out there. The thing that most people will notice is that it is 100% passively cooled. This means that there are no fans at all so it will be 100% silent during operation. This makes it the perfect card for those building a silent PC or home theater PC. On top of that this card is actually based on the “Cape Verde” GPU rather than the “Oland” GPU that most R7 250’s are based on. So you get 512 shader units and faster GDDR5 memory. Let’s see what this passively cooled card is all about!
Sapphire is working a new upcoming Radeon R9 290X in their Vapor-X series. What is interesting about this card is that Sapphire will be doubling the memory over AMD’s reference design, giving you a total of 8GB of VRAM! This will make the Sapphire Radeon R9 290X Vapor-X the first consumer-based graphics card with 8GB of VRAM.
A variant of the Radeon R9 270X Dual-X graphics card has recently been released by SAPPHIRE, with 4 GB of memory which is twice the amount offered in standard memory storage. This ensures that the card is perfectly suited for the high end games such as Battlefield 4 since it meets all the system requirements.
SAPPHIRE has now added two latest models to the top of the range R9 290 and R9 290X graphics cards and both these models have the privilege of being equipped with the SAPPHIRE exclusive Tri-X triple fan cooler, better and enhanced clock speeds and the dual BIOS.
Sapphire has rolled out another Radeon R9 270 graphics card. This will be a factory-overclocked variant, the R9 270 Boost OC Edition. The card looks pretty much identical to the R9 270 Dual-X which Sapphire launched in mid-November.
SAPPHIRE has made yet another announcement introducing a special BIOS exclusive for this graphics card which will aid in performance boost. With its release, the SAPPHIRE R9 290 brought forward the enthusiast level performance and for those who think of the flagship R9 290X model to be too overly priced, they can have all the new features at a more affordable rate in the SAPPHIRE R9 290.
SAPPHIRE is putting some more fun into this; it will be giving away vouchers for Battlefield 4 with the purchase of any R series cards. The name Battlefield 4 surely requires no introduction. It currently falls under the category of the world’s most famous game and it has been evident that it runs best on the graphics cards which are based on the GCN architecture.
