So much news has been circulating around the social media lately about AMD’s latest release of the Radeon R9 290X graphics card. Online bulletins keep playing around with the official release dates while many wait in anticipation. It was only until the press gathering in Turkey that the guessing games were over and so much curiosity was put to an end by AMD as it announced the official release of its fastest and most high end product in line. The press NDA of all specifications will come to an end on 15th of October this year at exactly 12 AM EST (Berlin time).
When AMD announced their brand new Radeon R9 290X flagship graphics card last week at their GPU 14 event many people noticed something missing from the cards. There were no CrossFireX connectors on the card. This is because AMD will be using new CrossFireX technology with the new Hawaii cards.

At AMD’s GPU 14 event they have just revealed all of the cards in the R9 2XX Series and the R7 2XX Series. These graphics cards are based on an improved version of the graphics core next architecture. The R9 series is made up of the R9 290X, R9 280X and R9 270X. The R7 series is made up of the R7 260X and R7 250.
One of the fastest performing GPU has been leaked out along with a few specifications, thanks to the efforts of Chiphell. The AMD’s Hawaii R9-290X GPU from the ‘Volcanic Islands’ series has beaten the NVIDIA Titan which was so far the best in performance and speed and was also one of the most expensive.
