ADATA is one such company and today we are checking out one of their latest solid state drive offerings in their Premier Pro SP920SS 256 GB solid state drive. The SandForce SF-2281 controller has been powering many of the solid state drives we have reviewed in the past year or so. When these drives were first released 28% of the storage capacity was used for over-provisioning. So if you had a 128GB drive you would actually get 100GB of available space. Later this 28% was brought down to 7%, now SandForce has released a 0 provision that allows for 0% of the capacity to be used for background activities. Today we are taking a look at one of the first drives to use this 0 provision, the ADATA Premier Pro SP900.
