We can never have too much power, with many people using their mobile device as their main computing device and people using multiple devices (smartphone & tablet) products like portable chargers have become extremely popular. Almost everyone I know has at least one charger their their mobile device, and half of them I wouldn’t even “tech” people. Cheero has been making mobile power banks and similar devices since 2011. Their latest is the Power Plus 3 which is a 13400 mAh portable charger that fits in your pocket! It makes use of high grade Japanese-made batteries and has dual USB power outputs. Let’s see if the Power Plus performs as good as it looks.
Tech Armor is a very interesting story. Their goal when they started was to create a very high-quality product at a minimal cost and also offer a great warranty and customer service. Their screen protectors, mobile device cases, and cables have been #1 best sellers on Amazon and many of their products have lifetime warranties, which is something you don’t typically see. Being in the mobile space they are now offering mobile power banks, which have become extremely popular over the past few years. Mushkin has been a RAM powerhouse for years, but 2015 is their year to switch things up a bit. reVIVE is Mushkin’s line of rechargeable battery packs launching in March 2015 ranging in capacities of 4400mAh – 13200mAh.
Our mobile products are like our lifeline. If our smartphone or tablet dies we sort of feel lost. The thing is with our mobile devices they are dependent on their batteries. If you don’t use your device that much during the day you can go a full day on a charge, but most people need to charge their device throughout the day. What if you are on the road or in a place where a wall outlet is not available? That is where Power Banks come in. Today we will be checking out ADATA’s PV100 4200mAh Power Bank. Wireless storage is becoming increasingly popular, I cannot tell you how many wireless hard drives we saw at CES this year. Wireless storage is great as you do not need to be physically connected to the drive to access it and think about how many wireless devices you have in your house. How many of those devices do you take with you on a daily basis? For me I take my laptop, iPhone and Kindle with me everywhere. With limited storage space on these devices I want to be able to take my media with me and access it from all of these devices…at the same time. We have already taken a look at devices like Kingston’s Wi-Drive and Patriot’s Gauntlet Node that give you this ability. Each device has its limitations though. Today we are taking a look at a device from ADATA that everyone should add to their mobile arsenal. The DashDrive Air is a wireless storage reader and power bank that gives you that mobile storage as well as the ability to charge your devices and so much more! Read on as we take a look!
