If you know your video game history you know that 20 years ago today (December 3rd 1994), Sony released the original PlayStation in Japan. Of course we all know that the console quickly became the most popular console of its generation beating out industry veterans like Nintendo and Sega. To commemorate this Sony is releasing a very special 20th Anniversary PlayStation 4 console.
Watch Dogs has been a highly anticipated game for quite some time now and was originally supposed to be a launch title for both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. While everyone was excited for the game Ubisoft had actually pushed the game back and it was delayed. It looks like we may now know when Watch Dogs will be coming out.
This is because a new XIM connector is now here to snare your PC peripherals to your Xbox One or Playstation 4. This is going to give you back the PC control to which your hands and fingers are accustomed to. You can also use the existing Bluetooth or USB headsets along with the consoles.
By this time all of us might have been pretty aware of the error on the PlayStation 4. Soon after release, users started complaining about the error which stopped their consoles from showing any display and this happened after the console had displayed a blue light which is supposed to go white after it has turned on.
The APU by AMD, named as Bonaire and Pitcairn GPUs and Jaguar Cores, has been successfully delivered to both the Xbox One and PS4. Reports have shown that the PS4 has been equipped with 1152 SPs and 8 Jaguar Cores but some leaked information confirms that there are 128 SPs left which are still unaccounted for.
It was rumored that the PS4 was going to get a higher resolution for this game and this rumor was confirmed by Mark Rubin. This confirmation was gotten from the tweet which he made and stated that the game would run at 1080p (native) and at full HD on PS4 while it will run at 1080p upscaled from 720p on Xbox One.
It has finally been confirmed by the Infinity Ward that the Call Of Duty: Ghosts will have a native resolution of 1080p to run on the PS4 while for the Xbox One, its version is going to run at 1080p (which is an upscaled from 720p). The output of the game is going to be 60fps for both the consoles likewise.
No matter how powerful and helpful with gaming, this feature wasn’t so obviously exploited by manufacturers and Sony who was previously using it, has dropped support and is not featuring it in the DualShock 4 controller.
Many people have been wondering why Sony’s next-gen PlayStation 4 console will cost significantly more in Brazil than anywhere else in the world. Many people speculated that local retailers or Sony were price gouging and taking advantage, but that seems to not be the case.
ABI Research has recently put forward its view that PS4 and Xbox One, the next generation gaming consoles, will not be able to outsell the predecessors. In first five years, the current Gen has managed to get a sale of approximately 140 Million Units and the sales for the next Gen will fall by 5 % as reported by the ABI’s research team.
