It’s been an exciting 2 years since Oculus released the first version of the Rift to the public and set fire to the tech industry. Since then we’ve had several iterations of this amazing piece of tech released specifically for developers. Honing their product and craft over time, Oculus has taken enough time to have hopefully created a well polished product. And finally, that product can be yours!
The first images of the consumer version of the Oculus Rift have popped up at a number of outlets including the Twitter account of VP of product Nate Mitchell and the official Oculus blog. It has also been revealed that the consumer version will ship in Q1 of 2016!
For all of your VR fans out there there is a new Oculus Rift prototype out there! It is codenamed “Crescent Bay” and features improved 360-degree tracking and integrated audio. This is still not a finalized consumer build, but it looks like Oclulus is doing some cool things with this prototype.
One of the coolest products of 2013 was the Oculus Rift. This virtual reality headset offers a truly immersive gaming experience that cannot be matched by any other product currently. Tom Forsyth who is an ex-Valve software engineer tweeted that they will be showing a new Rift Kit at CES.
2013 has already started out to be an exciting year. One of my favorite things to do is see what cool gadgets will be coming out each year. You should see all of these Gadgets this year and they are very exciting and innovative. While a few perform simple tasks others seems like they are out of the future.
