A tip was sent into us that on Micro Center’s Facebook they had announced a contest with the new NXZT Phantom Gaming Case pictured. As soon as we took a look at the post it was taken down, but we did manage to get a screenshot. The new case from NZXT will be called the Phantom 820. It will be black, although I would suspect them to offer it in white as well. The case does look very similar to the original Phantom with a different sort of “V” shape for the side panel window. Very interesting as this comes 10 days before the official launch of the product.

Computer case lighting started with people taking lights made for cars and putting them in cases. From there we got our own cold cathode lights made for computers and it just went on from there. Back in 2010 we took a look at NZXT’s sleeved LED kit, which was a great way to light the inside of your case. NZXT is back with another lighting solution called the Hue. It combines a LED strip with a 5.25-inch bay device that you can use to control the LED’s. The Hue is set to be one of the most customizable and easy to use lighting systems for your PC! Read on as we check it out!

NZXT really took their time designing this case to give you so many different cooling options as well as adding features that are just not on other cases. The case comes equipped with four 140mm cooling fans, room for up to 7 hard drives, support for XL-ATX motherboards, USB 3.0 support and much more. So let’s just jump right in and take a look.

Fan controllers come in all shapes in sizes, but it’s not every day you see one that looks like a DJ’s mixer. Today we’ll be looking at the NZXT Sentry Mix Fan Controller, which supports up to six fans. The fans can be controlled very easily with each having its own slider. Each slider is individually marked and can be easily spotted in one of five LED colors.
When we posted our overview of the NZXT Switch 810 many people had asked us what fan controller was being used on the case and it was NZXT’s own Sentry Mix fan controller. This controller fits in an open 5.25-inch drive bay and features six 50w channels and five LED colors for you to choose from. It also has a nice rubberized finish, unlike many fan controllers.
