MSI has been teasing their approaching Radeon R9 290X Gaming graphics card which can now be seen in pictures with all its full greatness by GDM.OR.JP. The card which has been tagged as the Twin Frozr 4S OC graphics card is going to come along with the offer of their high-performance Twin Frozr 4S cooling solution and it has been teamed up with a non-reference PCB layout.
One of the leading universal motherboard and design card producers, MSI is feeling proud to announce the accessibility of the GTX 780 Ti Gaming 3G graphics card. It features the all new influential Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 Ti GPU with a blazing fast GDDR5 of 3 GB.
MSI has already released their GeForce GTX 780 Lightning card, but now they have come up with the GTX 780 Lightning Lite Edition. As you could guess this “Lite Edition” will have the same features, but lower clocks. The Light Edition will have base and boost clocks of 889 MHz and 941 MHz respectively. This is compared to the 980 / 1033 MHz clocks of the GTX 780 Lightning.

It looks like photos of the PCB for MSI’s upcoming Radeon R9 290X Lighting have been leaked. Looking at the details of the PCB we can see that the Radeon R9 290X will be an absolute powerhouse and will may put to rest all of the complaints that R9 290X reference designs do not take full advantage of the Hawaii XT core.
MSI is going to introduce two new components into this series; the Z87I GAMING AC and GTX 760 GAMING OC ITX. Z87I GAMING AC from this series is the mini-ITX motherboard which brings forth a perfect gaming platform. The motherboard has been equipped with the Intel Z87 chipset and comes along with MSI’s Military Class components.
NVIDIA’s GeForce 700 series of cards are made up of the GTX 760, GTX 770 and GTX 780. The GTX 770 is actually based on the same GPU as the GeForce GTX 680. It makes use of the 28nm GK104 chip. This chip features 8 streaming multiprocessors (SMX units), 1536 stream processors, 1218 texture units and 32 ROPs. The GTX 770 is clocked a little higher than the GTX 680 with a 1049 MHz core clock and a boost clock of 1085 MHz. The memory is also higher at 7010 MHz (effective). With these improvements and since many companies are already used to working with the GK104 chip this should make for better performance and a more powerful card.
