Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Christian Black and White build. Here is what he had to say about it: Well this is the first time I do something like this, and it really is interesting the world of case modding the project is BLACK AND WHITE and really was a design chosen because I began to paint the cabinet only and one thing leads to another as in all cases and was thinking of some ideas for covers.
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Ben’s ViRoiD build. Here is what he had to say about it: Pictures speak louder than words. Getting a 690 to fit in a prodigy is not a big deal until you start thinking about watercooling it, and a cpu, and ram. I wanted a color that matched the p8z77-i, and blue was the ticket. The orange case was chosen because of its location opposite of blue on the color wheel. Modding the front of the case to fit the 200mm rad was fun, plus it gave me some extra materials to make some psu covers with.
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Derrick Ubbink’s Smokey Green Giant build. Here is what he had to say about it: The inspiration for this build comes from the frustration of dealing with small cases while water cooling. I set out to find a case that was simply huge and didn’t have terrible outer aesthetics. I found the Fulmo GT met these requirements so quickly ordered one and set to work gutting it and making it to my liking. In the end I went with a dual loop water cooled setup, one for CPU the other GPU, each cooled by a single 420mm Alphacool radiator. And what started out as a TRI-SLI 3GB GTX 580 rig quickly became QUAD-SLI 580s and finally I went for a pair of GTX Titans. I’m super happy with the results and will just be enjoying it for awhile!
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday showcase! This week we have Anthony Hick’s Amethyst build. He has actually sent us shots of his entire setup! Here is what he has to say about his build: My first build, designed for gaming. Essentially started out as a budget build, but I’ve been adding upgrades as I am able to afford them.
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday case showcase! This week we have Shane McAnally’s custom open air case made of both wood and acrylic. Here is what he had to say about it: I wanted something to showcase the internals of the system, but not not look like most open test benches. I love wood and acrylic both and they work together beautifully. Read on to check it out!
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday case showcase! This week we have Maurizio Barbato’s Black & White Devil case mod, which just looks awesome! I wanted to mod my little devil V8 because it is not a case widely used for imaginative additions. My idea was to use only rigid pipes (12/10) and only bitspower components (which I thank) the work lasted about 3 months now and still do not feel 100% finished.
Showtable (model) V is one case design for one thing: show the hardware as a piece of art. Featuring one open frame and stunning look, with high contrast colors, this scratch case can show the hardware like you never see before. Perfect for events like we had do with it in 2011 with that GTX 590, the green nvidia and the powder coat black give it a unique look, catching look. It feature custom cables with the same color, floating cages and single frame part.
APASF was born out an idea of mixing the well established Steampunk design with the post-apocalyptic style. The idea has been in my head for the last 5-6 years but I wanted to wait until I developed my paint effect skills to a point where I knew I could replicate to perfection the idea I had in my head. The secondary concept factor was to give it a “modular” look like the Thermaltake BMW case had (the original limited stupidly expensive one, not the current one) so that´s why I used a slim HTPC as a base so I could have parts literally coming popping out of the case.
Welcome to another Case Mod Friday case showcase! This week we have Wayne Butler’s custom military case. A 1962 U.K. Army dedicated tribute build to my late father Sargent P.R. Butler. Built inside of a Corsair Vengeance C70. The case has a full military theme along with the rest of my setup.
This case was build from scratch by hand, it’s one heartshaped case to fit the ZBOX nano XS AD11 that ZOTAC kindly sponsor to us. Design idea was simple, do it “Valentine and cute” for women. It feature one multi layer case style (12 layers) of white acrylic and red accents. The video worklog are 7 videos full EN, called Letters, that you can see at our YouTube page. This project was build to give mine girlfriend as a V-day gift and now is with WIN 8 and XBMC, as her daily PC.
