Everyone surely must have been in awe of the excellent performance given by Ryse at the 2013 Electronic Entertainment Expo, more commonly known as E3. But unfortunately it was running on a PC using GTX 780s instead of the Xbox One, Ryse displayed that PC is much more powerful than Xbox One.

Late Monday night Microsoft made a $7.1 billion dollar push to become a “devices and services” company as they announced that it had purchased Nokia’s Devices and Services unit. Microsoft will be purchasing Nokia’s mobile division for $5 billion was well as another $2.1 billion for its patents.
Up until now Microsoft has kept pretty quiet about the architectural details of their upcoming next-gen console Xbox One. At Hot Chip 2013 Microsoft unveiled the complete architectural details of the Xbox One, which boasts 5 billion transistors.
It looks like Microsoft will be producing a White version of their upcoming Xbox One console, but don’t get too excited. The white version at least for the time being appears to be limited to Microsoft Employees. Microsoft may offer the white version at a later time, but we have not heard of it being available to non-employees at launch.
A few days ago we reported that Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer announced that he would be retiring from that position within the next 12 months. Steve took the CEO position in 2001 and in that time he oversaw led many operating system and product releases. He was speaking with ZDNet and mentioned that there was one product launch he did regret the most, Windows Vista.
Microsoft has announced today that Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer has decided to retire as CEO within the next 12 months. This will of course take place upon the completion of a process to choose his successor as CEO of the company. In the meantime, Ballmer will continue as CEO and lead Microsoft through the next steps of its transformation to a devices and services company.
Microsoft has just now released a new keyboard along with the combination of mouse called the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop and trust us, they don’t look like the usual keyboard/mouse at all. Being totally unique in design, unlike the standard keyboard; this one is split into two parts, giving users a reclined angle to work on.
Unfortunately Windows RT (Microsoft’s new operating system developed specially for tablets with ARM chips) is not getting much success. Sales have not been up to mark and pretty disappointing so far. A number of large companies have completely decided to abandon the sales and either move to full version of Windows 8 or Android.
Microsoft has filed exclusive rights application for a new multiplayer gaming headset which encloses features such as voice interaction, eye tracking, facial recognition, accelerometers and gyroscopes, which efficiently sounds like a mixture of Google Glass and Oculus Rift.
