Microsoft Corp. today announced that its Surface family of PCs is growing. Its newest model — Surface Windows 8 Pro — will be available for purchase on Feb. 9, 2013, in the United States and Canada at all Microsoft retail stores, microsoftstore.com, Staples and Best Buy in the U.S., as well as from a number of locations in Canada.

A couple of days ago we stopped by one of the latest Microsoft “pop-up” stores. Microsoft has launched 32 of these “pop-up” stores around the US and Canada and lucky enough there is one in Pittsburgh at Ross Park Mall. The reason Microsoft is calling these “pop-up” stores is because they are temporary installments for the holiday season that are intended to give shoppers more options for buying Microsoft and other PC-related products.
