We have been a huge fan of Avexir memory since they first came out. Their modules offer great performance, but I’m sure many of you know them for their colorful designs which will really light up the inside of your case. At Computex they are showing a few different memory modules to go with certain motherboards, of course ones that light up and a very unique PCI-Express light accessory.
We have not heard much from Crucial lately, but they do have some good announcements coming out of Computex this week. They have announced new additions to their Ballistix performance memory product family. These new additions include Crucial Ballistix Sport XT DDR3 memory kits and Crucial Ballistix Sport SODIMMs.
We know Corsair for many different types of products these days from cases and gaming peripherals, but they started out as a memory company and still make memory to this day. At Computex Corsair has announced a new memory kit series in the Vengeance Pro Series of DDR3 memory kits.
Want to talk about some fast memory? How about 3000 MHz memory? Well G.SKILL has just announced their fastest DDR3 memory kit. The 32GB (8GBx4) TridentX DDR3 kit operates at 3000 MHz with timings of 12-14-14-35 at 1.65V. This new kit is designed for the latest 4th Generation Intel Core processors and the Z87 chipset.
ADATA has announced the successor to their very popular XPG memory series the XPG V2 Series, which is specifically designed for 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors and the Z87 platform. If you did not know Kingston has been celebrating their 10th Anniversary of HyperX this year. We actually reviewed their 10th Anniversary HyperX kit not that long ago. Continuing their celebration they have updated the printed circuit boards (PCBs) to black on two of their memory line the HyperX Beast and the new HyperX Black.
It looks like Corsair has another first on their hands. They have just announced their new Vengeance Extreme 8GB dual channel memory kits, which are rated at 3000MHz! That makes them the world’s fastest rated production PC memory kits! These new 2x4GB kits have timings of 12-14-14-36 at 1.5V. They are air cooled and use simple “racing red” heat spreaders. Corsair will also include a Kingpin cooling memory cooler for overclockers who want to use LN2.
Kingston is celebrating 10 years of HyperX. Can you believe that HyperX has been around that long? It makes me feel pretty old! HyperX is of course Kingston’s high performance memory line. Recently they have added the HyperX name to other high performance products like their solid state drives and flash drives. To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of HyperX Kingston has released their 10th Anniversary HyperX Memory Kits. The modules feature an extremely attractive heatspreader, high frequencies, XMP profiles and the heatspreaders are not that large so they will not get in the way of your CPU cooler. Today we are looking at the KHX24C11X3K4/16X kit which is a 16GB kit (4x 4GB) that operates at 2400MHz with timings of 11-13-13 at 1.65V.
Micron Technology, Inc., one of the world’s leading providers of advanced semiconductor solutions, and TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity, announced today the availability of a Single-Sided SODIMM and a low-profile single-sided, double data rate 3 (DDR3) SODIMM connector solution to take advantage of the burgeoning market for Ultrabook devices, convertibles, tablets and other thin and light devices.
