When it comes to upgrading your laptops memory there really are not a whole lot of options when you want extreme performance. Well it looks like G.SKILL wants to change that with their brand new 2133 MHz 32GB DDR3L SO-DIMM memory kit.
We have seen memory with LED lighting for a while, more recently with Avexir. Well it looks like another company has memory with attractive LED lightning. Panram has recently introduced their Light Sword Series memory that features a unique fiber-optic LED that lights up when the RAM is in use.
Samsung today announced that it is mass producing the most advanced DDR3 memory, based on a new 20 nanometer process technology, for use in a wide range of computing applications. Samsung has pushed the envelope of DRAM scaling, while utilizing currently available immersion ArF lithography, in its roll-out of the industry’s most advanced 20-nanometer (nm) 4-gigabit (Gb) DDR3 DRAM.
Our friends over at Avexir has just sent us news that their new Blitz Red Dragon 1.1 Memory Series is now available. These modules are built from a black PCB and superimposed black and red color heatspreaders with unique stylistic design showing a red dragon. At the top of memory manufacturer installed red lights, which gently pulsates as if our RAM was actually breathing.
Kingston had a little treat at their CES showcase this year. They had DDR4 and not only that they had a working DDR4 platform! They were showing off 384 GB of DDR4 memory running on a 2P future Intel server reference platform.
The new eight gigabit (GB), low power double data rate 4 (LPDDR4), mobile DRAM is the industry’s very first innovative memory technology and has been devised by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. This comes as no surprise because Samsung has already been known as a leader in this memory field.
Avexir’s new series have been designed in such a way that they are related to the most recent motherboards which are now available in the market. This has helped the whole system to be transformed into a state of the art masterpiece and it was designed from scratch by one author. If we take the example of the Avexir Blitz 1.1 OCF, it has a blackish yellow heat-sink and yellow LED and this combination makes it a perfect match for the ASRock Z87 OC Formula motherboard.
G.Skill must be really proud to have received the Advanced Tested certification for their 4 GB and 8 GB 1866MHz DDR3L (low voltage, 1.35v) SO-DIMMs on the Intel NUC D53427RKE platform with the Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor. This certification was delivered by the Computer Memory Test Labs which are more commonly known as the CMTL.
Standard-height DDR3 memory modules with higher performance rates have been announced by G.Skill. The AEGIS line of memory modules has been introduced for gaming PC builds and is already guaranteeing the high performance which everyone desires. These will launch and fall under the sub $100 price-points and will come with lifetime warranties.
