Only four days to go for the launch of Logitech’s latest Comfort keyboard K290 specially designed to cater the mid-range consumer market. The keyboard is a full-size layout with keys separated into three areas. All the keys are there where you expect them to be. So typing is faster and easier. It also includes the LED notification center at the top right of the keyboard. When the caps/num/scroll lock is enabled, the light gets switched on. The elegant black finish is complemented with slate grey keys that have a “frame” design to give the keyboard a contemporary/classy look. The bottom case and cable are cool blue, adding up a bit of freshness and character.
Just today Logitech drew the curtains away from their Logitech Bluetooth Speakers Z600 which is a highly elegantly designed pair of speakers complementing the sleek good looks of both Mac and Ultrabook computers. With these Bluetooth supported speakers you can actually stream music and other audio from your computer, smart phones and tablet with great ease. Three devices can be active simultaneously and swapping between them is very simple, by just pressing pause on one and play on the other.
Logitech used to be a big player in the gaming market, but other companies like ROCCAT and Razer has really taken over the market in the last few years. Logitech is back with an entire new line of gaming peripherals, which they are calling the Logitech G Line. It includes six redesigned mice and keyboard favorites and well as two new headsets.
Since the birth and death of the MX518 mouse Logitech has been desperately looking for that product to put them back into the spotlight of the gaming scene. This year at CES Logitech has taken the steps toward that potential product. Mice and keyboards designed by gamers for gamers (Sorry Razer) craftsmanship and design planning really shine though. Can Logitech sway you away from some of the newer more attractive players on the market? 2013 could be a return to glory for the once gaming king.

When you find a keyboard you like you never want to change, my keyboard is the one component of my main system that has not changed since 2007! Logitech released the diNovo Edge keyboard back in 2007 and even since it has been my main keyboard. Surprisingly enough logitech still makes it and it sells for just about the same price. I think after 5 years it is time to move on to a new keyboard and I think the K800 wireless keyboard may just be the right keyboard. It has some of the same features of the diNovo Edge as well as some new ones. Read on and see if the K800 can make me let go of my 5 year old diNovo Edge.
