Laptop stands are always a good thing to have around. They making typing and using your laptop much easier but more importantly they place your laptop at an ergonomically-correct angle. I have quite a few laptop stands actually, but the thing that bothers me is that they take up so much space when you are traveling. Today we have a notebook stand that is extremely portable; it folds up for easy storage and traveling! It has quite a large price tag, let’s see if it’s worth it!
A few months ago we took a look at Lenovo’s ThinkPad Edge 13-inch notebook and we absolutely loved it. It was a great blend of consumer and business features not to mention it looked great. The 13-inch form factor is perfect for some people, but many people want a larger laptop with more power and of course a larger screen to work with. Knowing this Lenovo has released 2 more models to its ThinkPad Edge series, a 14-inch and a 15-inch. Both models feature the new Intel Core i3 processor, DDR3 memory, HD graphics and of course all of the extra features you would expect from a ThinkPad. Today we will be taking a look at the 15-inch model.

When you think of ThinkPad’s you think of business notebooks and they really are. I’ve reviewed quite a few ThinkPad’s over the past few years and the features are unrivaled when it comes to other notebooks. But the thing about the ThinkPad’s is that they don’t appeal to many people, even small business users. Lenovo noticed this and came out with the ThinkPad Edge. The Edge is a very attractive 13-inch notebook that provides the right amount of business and consumer features. The Edge is also one of the first ThinkPad’s that has an AMD processor option. Let’s see if the ThinkPad Edge is the perfect new laptop for you!
Most ThinkComputers readers are likely unfamiliar with Be.ez. Before CES, I’d never heard of the French company myself. I sat down with Be.ez CEO Nicolas Cottard to review Be.ez’s line of laptop sleeves, bags, and other device containers. Be.ez’s flagship product is a laptop sleeve which uses memory foam instead of neoprene. The pricing is similar in the $25-$40 range, but the memory foam is times more protective than a simple neoprene sleeve. Neoprene offers scratch protection and moderate moisture protection, but virtually no collision protection. The memory foam offers all of these. All of the stitching is inside to prevent it from catching on zippers and such.
Intel’s Atom processor really made it easy for many manufacturers to make an inexpensive laptop that performs well, now netbook’s are everywhere. They appeal to many consumers because they are small, inexpensive, and for normal computer users they are good for browsing the internet and other similar tasks. Today we will be looking at the IdeaPad S10-2 from Lenovo. We looked at the original S10 back in November, the S10-2 is very much the same as hardware goes, but Lenovo did a lot to make this version of the S10 better. Let’s take a look…
Laptops keep on getting more powerful, that means many people are using them as desktop replacements. There are many benefits of using a laptop instead of a large tower. First off it takes up far less space, you can take it from place to place with you, and you don’t have to worry about a keyboard and a mouse. One thing I’ve always missed when using a laptop is screen space, I currently use two 24-inch screens at my desktop so going down to 1 screen is a change. Lenovo has come up with a solution for this with their ThinkPad W700ds laptop that has an additional pull-out 10.6-inch screen! Let’s check it out!
For most people tablets are something they hate or love. They really have not caught on as many tablet manufacturers and Microsoft thought they would. Although people who do use tablet’s love them and wouldn’t know what to do without them. Today we will be looking at Lenovo’s latest tablet, the ThinkPad 12.1-inch X200. The X200 tablet features a 1.86 GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB of memory, a solid design and all the features you would expect from a ThinkPad. Let’s take a look and see if the X200 tablet is the right tablet for you.
Subnotebooks or netbooks are becoming extremely popular. It seems like everyone is coming out with some type of netbook. They are very appealing to consumers because most people use their laptops for word processing and surfing the web and the low prices of these laptops make them an easy buy. Also most netbooks are compact and small, which makes them easy to travel with. Today we will be looking at Lenovo’s IdeaPad S10, which is a 10.2-inch netbook that features an Intel Atom processor and 1GB of memory. Let’s see if this is the netbook for you!
