Eurocom is currently shipping the fastest Haswell based 4th generation Intel core i7 powered notebook consisting of a dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M graphics called “The Scorpius 2.0” which is a super high performance, VGA upgradable laptop computer designed in a way to deliver maximum performance and capability to its users and in the meanwhile not compromising on its functioning.
Tobii Technology which is considered to be the world’s leading company in eye tracking and gaze interaction, and Synaptics Inc. which is a chief developer of human interface solutions for mobile computing and entertainment devices announced today a new prototype model of laptop which is powered by a combination of Synaptics Force Pad touchpad along with the Tobii Gaze eye-tracking technology.
Since we are pretty much aware of the fact that we haven’t heard much about the Samsung series 9 Ultrabooks for a while, but now they have planned to rebrand it by announcing two follow up models of the ATIV Ultrabook series. Samsung has just introduced their ATIV Book 9 Plus which is 13-inch flag-ship laptop considered to be a complete replacement to the old series 9 model. Moreover the company has also announced the new ATIV Book 9 Lite, its again a 13-inch model but does not really meet the requirement of Ultrabook status.
ASUS today launched their 15.6-inch touch-enabled Ultrabook called the ViviBook S551. The device is powered by the competent NVIDIA GT 740M graphic processing unit which provides ample power for every application and side by side also includes Intel’s 4th generation Haswell based core processor. What a combination! We must say. With the mobile NVIDIA GT 740M it does not compromise on power and performance at all while taking care of the heat dissipation as well(important in case of thin UltraBooks).
Just what the gamers wanted! Dell will once again conquer the heart of gaming lovers with its latest Alienware laptop series. They have a complete new look and even got a new name: Alienware 14, 17 and 18 is the latest series coming up. Dell is basically refreshing the 14 inch, 17 inch and 18 inch laptops keeping in mind the durability and enhancement.
Last fall Fujitsu launched its Lifebook UH75 and this time it’s the UH90 (the sequel). This 14-inch portable notebook is far lighter than that of its ancestor measuring just 15.5mm in thickness and an upgraded 3200x1800p extra dense touch screen. It includes 1.6GHz Haswell processor with a hybrid hard drive of 500GB which keeps balance between the speed and storage.
Lenovo has been making headlines with their IdeaPad Yoga. It is a tablet convertible that can be used as a laptop as well. There are 11-inch and 13-inch models. While the larger 13-inch model has the choice of Intel Core processors, the 11-inch does not and is rather powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 3 platform. Along with announcing the worlds thinnest gaming notebook Razer also introduced the Blade Pro 17-inch gaming laptop. This will be the third iteration of Razer’s ground-breaking, ultra-portable laptop. The laptop will be powered by a 47-watt Intel 4th generation core processor, NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 765M GPU, 8GB of DDR3 memory and solid state drive storage.
Even though the Haswell’s CPUs will be released on June 4, it gives us enough reasons to hold on from buying new ones. Regardless of this fact, some corporate buyers are always impatient to buy new PCs. To cater this market, Fujitsu has released new set of laptops supported by the Ivy Bridge and not by Haswell central processing units. These include E733, E743 and E753, the classic slim designs measuring 13.3 inches, 14 inches and 15.6 inches respectively. They are being offered in silver and red design which is certainly a better look than what we saw last year.
Lenovo has been coming up with a lot of various ThinkPads Edge Series models and the ThinkPad T431’s in the past couple of months but now you must be keen to get your hands on new Lenovo device and tired of using the same old ThinkPad. Well the wait is over because Lenovo is back again showing its two new UltraBook designs S3 (Labatt) and S5 (Guinness), having a screen size of 13-inch and 15 inch respectively with Windows 8 OS. Rumors are that it will be launched by the end of May in China.
