The big 4. In the US these companies represent the cellular provider nearly for 300 million people, at least the ones who have cell phones worth talking about. Each company has boat loads of phones to choose from but with each provider one phone sits alone at the top. Today, we are going to go over the Big 4’s big 4. Some of these phones have been around for awhile but still reign supreme with their respective companies. We’ll give you a brief overview of the phones; the good, the bad, and certainly the ugly but ultimately it’s your call.
If you are anything like me you have quite a few gadgets lying around, most with their own chargers. This means you have a bunch of different cords to plug in, which takes up most of your power strip and just makes a mess of wires and connectors. While there is nothing we can do about all of the chargers that come with these devices there is something you can do about the mess. This is where the IDAPT I3 Universal Desktop charger comes in. It is a simple device that has 1 power connection and allows you to charge up to 3 devices at the same time! Let’s take a look…
Yesterday at WWDC10 Steve Jobs announced the iPhone 4. Apple claims this is the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone was released in 2007. The iPhone 4 features an all new design, Apple A4 processor, Retina display, 5-megapixel camera, and much more. Current iPhone users are probably wondering should I get the new iPhone 4? Well read on as we go over the new iPhone 4 and tell you if you should get one or not.
When it comes to iPhone cases there are only a few really rugged and tough cases out there, most of the cases you see are for looks and simple protection as most people really do not need all of the protection that a rugged case offers and do not want to deal with the extra bulk of a rugged case. I have reviewed a few cases like this and they are definitely not made for comfort or ease of use. Well Speck has sent us their ToughSkin iPhone Case that not only is rugged but is very functional too. Let’s take a look and see if Speck has actually made a rugged iPhone case that is usable!

We have already reviewed a few Speck iPhone cases here at ThinkComputers and were very impressed with them. So after reviewing 2 of their cases they sent us one of their most popular cases, the CandyShell. The CandyShell is a very unique case because it is both a rubberized case as well as a hard-shell case. Funny thing is I know 2 of my friends that have had this case for a while and love it, so I am very excited to take a look at it.
Last month we took a look at our first iPhone case from Speck, the Fitted Case. It proved that Speck is not one of those companies creating garbage cases just to jump on the popularity of the iPhone. They were nice enough to send us another case, the PixelSkin which is a rubber case with a textured tile pattern that provides a comfortable, tactile sensation in your hand and a no-slip grip. The case offers openings to all ports, controls and sensors for convenient accessibility. Let’s take a look at the PixelSkin iPhone case!

There are sure a lot of choices when it comes to iPhone cases and believe me there are a lot of garbage cases out there, just go to your local mall to one of those stands and you will see what I mean. During CES this year I was introduced to Speck, a company who makes stylish cases and bags for many portable devices and laptops. The one case that really caught my eye at the show was the Fitted iPhone Case. Speck was nice enough to send one along for review, so let’s see if this Fitted case is a good mix of style and protection for your iPhone.
A few weeks ago when I got back from CES I went out and met up with my usual group of friends. Being the “tech guy” in the group two of my friends had to show me their new phones. Both were smartphones to my surprise, most of my friends are not tech people at all and have no need for all of the functions of a smartphone. The 2 phones were the Samsung Moment and the HTC myTouch. My two friends were really excited to show me how they customized the Android home screen and all of the applications they had. I’m an iPhone guy and I’ve had my iPhone for quite a while. It felt good having one of the only phones that could have apps on it, but now almost anyone can get an Android phone! This begs the question, is Android taking over the mobile OS market?
