Well it is finally official. Apple has sent out invites for their September 10th iPhone Event at their headquarters. If you look at the invite below it does show a bunch of different colors. We are expecting Apple to announce the iPhone 5S as well as the lower cost iPhone 5C.
The recently leaked images of the iPhone 5C have made quite a stir on the internet. And especially with its delightful colors, the new iPhone is the much awaited release this season. So far this new 5C model, the C standing for ‘Color’, is thought to be the alternative for 5S and will be much cheaper comparatively. The wait is finally coming to an end with the official release of the phone expected to be within a few days as most of the leaked images show the colorful iPhone 5C already packed and ready to be shipped in its markets.
iPhone 5S in the pictures have its white plastic panels on the back. The rest of the back is slightly gold colored though the lighting in the photos is not very ideal. The upper part of the back also has a hole for the dual LED flash which is next to the camera. The Sim card tray and the buttons are seen in the pics too but are not installed. Not to forget the previously leaked photos did not show these missing parts.
Earlier we have come across rumors like dual Led flash and a fingerprint scanner, and now leaked components of the next generation iPhone show clear signs of some changes on the top of the back and around the home button. Moreover we can see that the mounting points for the motherboard have been moved around a little and these little changes confirm that we might see dual led flash or a fingerprint scanner in the iPhone 5S.
The latest rumor we have been hearing is that the Apple 2013 iPhone release event will take place on September 6th. This could be the same event Apple unveils their new Haswell-powered Macbook Pro’s at. It has been speculated that Apple will not just be releasing just one iPhone, but actually two! The next generation iPhone will be called the iPhone 5S, and the second iPhone would be a cheaper more budget orientated iPhone. It has been referred to lately as the iPhone Lite.
Almost a year has passed since Apple announced its iPhone 5, which gave a beginning to the never ending rumors of iPhone 5s. Recently we heard from some sources that Sharp would be manufacturing 5s panel in June and if the recently leaked blurry images on the internet by Mac Rumors confirm to be true then the next iPhone will have a dual-LED flash.
According to the latest rumors, Apple is considering launching a 4.7-inch and a 5.7-inch iPhone models as soon as in 2014 also along with a $99 model in a range of different plastic colors. The media outlet mentions that the decision is yet to be taken but at the same time Apple wants to gain back the share from its tough competitor Samsung. We already know that Samsung has a huge contribution in boosting the mobile industry and becoming a leading cellular manufacturer. Basically Apple here wants to contest with Samsung’s line of Galaxy Note and their other inexpensive phones by offering similar screen sized phones and their low priced $99 model with plastic body (none of them which Apple currently makes).
For the curious, we hate breaking your hearts. The much awaited iPhone 5s launch has been delayed due to some technical reasons. According to the sources the launch was due sometime soon this year but now it has been postponed to October due to shortage of retina displays.
If Apple follows their typical release schedule, the new iPhone will be available sometime this summer, and the rumors are already flying about what that’s going to contain. With rival phones from Android stepping up their game, will Apple feel the pressure to do something completely new and spectacular? Maybe it’ll be like the 4S, which made small improvements to the iPhone 4 but didn’t break out of the mold too much. Nobody really knows, as Apple hasn’t provided us with any official information yet, but there are some of the speculated changes.
We have had so many rumours about the iPhone 6 that it is hard to keep a track. The latest rumour has it that the iPhone 6 will feature a 4.5 inch edge to edge display screen. The Retina-class true display will certainly attract a large chunk of customers. Some marketing images were recently posted to iPhone-MY.com and that is where we get the idea that the ‘edge’ will be removed all together.
