HP has finally revealed its Chromebook 14 which is the first of its type to come equipped with the Haswell processors. It has been introduced with the highlights of giving fast access to the web, allowing ease of work and a 4G (which is optional) which ensures connectivity at all times.
Intel decided to kick off this years IDF13 San Francisco by demoing their latest 14nm Broadwell CPU / SoC (System on Chip). Intel also confirmed that Broadwell processors would be shipping by the end of the year and Broadwell based laptops would start shipping in 2014.
Gigabyte has unveiled its latest BRIX mini-PCs at IDF. These new versions are running Intel Core i7-4770R and Core i5-4570R processors. Both of these chips feature Intel’s Iris Pro 5200 integrated graphics which has 40 execution units, L4 eDRAM cache and more than double the integrated graphics performance of the normal Intel Core i7-4770.
The new NUC Haswell computer has been spotted and is said to have been made in order to put right all the errors which were present in the previous systems of these NUC computers which are the Next Unit Computers. Measuring merely 4 x 4 x 1.5 inches, these are the mini computers but they are good enough to pass for the normal desktop workstations.
Intel has now introduced its new range of desktop processors with the new models of Ivy Bridge and Haswell. With this expansion of new processors, Intel seemingly wishes to spread out the availability of its processors to additional markets. The new Haswell processors include the variation of the Core i7.

The latest Haswell pricing details by Intel have surfaced up. Intel has given final touches to the following: three new Core i3 parts, a mid range, Core i5 part, a high end Core i7 part and three Pentium parts.
ASUS has just announced a new motherboard in the Z87 Deluxe Quad. This is the world’s first motherboard certified by Intel with Thunderbolt 2 technology. This board has two Thunderbolt 2 ports which allow for 12 simultaneously connected devices. Each port is capable of up to a 20 Gbit/s transfer rate and is backwards compatible with the first generation of Thunderbolt.
ASUS has just announced their entire series of H81 chipset Haswell motherboards. The lineup includes six boards: H81M-Plus, H81M-A, H81M-C and H81M-E Micro-ATX motherboards, and the H81I-Plus Mini-ITX (from left to right in the photo below). All of these models feature a single PCI-Express x16 slot, two DDR3 DIMM slots, and two SATA III slots along with ASUS’s latest UEFI BIOS, Realtek 7.1 audio and USB 3.0.
