Looks like we are getting closer and closer to the launch of NVIDIA’s 700 Series of graphics cards. VideoCardz has revealed the packaging of the upcoming flagship GeForce GTX 780 graphics card from Inno3D. The picture confirms that the card will feature 3 GB of GDDR5 memory and is powered by the GK110 architecture.
NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 780 is set to be the flagship of the new 700-series line. This refresh is set to replace current Kepler 600 series cards. A report from Fudzilla says the GeForce GTX 780 will cost anywhere from 500 to 600 Euros (incl. VAT) depending on the SKU. Of course the price in the US will be a little different and we will have to see what it will be as we get closer to the launch date.
Photos of both of NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce GTX 770 and GTX 780 have been leaked on the Chiphell Forums. Looking at the leaked photos it looks like NVIDIA will be using the same cooler that was featured on their Titan graphics card. This is the NVTTM cooling design which makes use of a vapor chamber, extended fin cooling and of course much better looks than previous coolers.
