Well it is Friday, that means another edition of Gaming Friday! Today we are checking out an awesome action RTS called League of Legends. You may have heard of this game, which has been about for a while now. One of the best things about this game is that it is free to play! League of Legends came out of the immensely popular Warcraft III mod Defense of the Ancients (DoTA). The basic outline of the game is that you choose a champion during each match and you play with a team of other players to defeat your enemies. Unlike MMO’s this game is not played in a persistent world, but at the end of each match you get experience point to improve attributes for future matches. Read on to see what this highly addictive game is all about!

I went digging into my video game crates to find my Super Nintendo and one of the coolest games ever made, Uniracers. At its core, Uniracers is a simple racing game. Your goal is to beat your opponent. However, it isn’t as simple as point a to point b. There are tricks, stunts, and obstacles that you either need to master or learn how to avoid. Uniracers is a fast paced thrill ride that is as fun to watch, as it is to play. Let’s flashback to 1994. Super Nintendo (SNES) was the top console and Nintendo was racking up exclusives. Uniracers, a brand new franchise was being developed by DMA Design. That name may not be familiar today, but DMA Design didn’t disappear. They became what’s now known as Rockstar North. Yes, that’s the same Rockstar North that created the GTA series and Lemmings. DMA Design put together a game that is so simple, although if you dive into it, there is a lot to do.

We here at ThinkComputers are very avid gamers. So each Friday we will be covering a game that should help you get through the weekend. The games will range from new games to classics that we still love to play. They also are not limited to just PC games either. If you have a game you think we should cover check out the Gaming Friday thread in the forums.
Today we are checking out a very intriguing PC game that I was introduced to at the GXL back in May. Unless a FPS game is multiplayer shoot em up game I really don’t get in to it that much. And I really never got in to RPG games on PC at all, unless you included World of Warcraft, but let’s not talk about that. Borderlands combines both the FPS and RPG aspect in to one and does it very well. Gearbox, the makers of the game took a risk doing this, but it has paid off very well. Read on to see why I keep going back to this game night after night.

I know most of our Gaming Friday articles have been about games that are just fun, but hey that’s what Gaming Friday is all about! Bulletstorm is no exception to that! The game is all about killing enemies, but not just that performing moves in combos when killing enemies to get a higher score. Bulletstorm is from the same people who did the Gears of War series so you know it is going to be a great game. Read on to find out all about it!

I’m sure most people have heard of Counter-Strike Source, it is one of the most played and most competitive video games out there. You will never run out of level space. You can edit the terrain to your very whim. There are natural cave systems, beautiful landscapes, and monsters that come out at night to kill you, as well as much more that can’t possibly fit in one internet page. Interested?
