Epic Games Unreal Engine 4 is one of the most power game engine out there, giving developers access and the ability to create truly beautiful games. The latest technology demo looks almost too real to even believe a game engine is creating what you are seeing on the screen. Don’t believe me? Check out the video below.
One of my favorite first person shooters is finally returning. Epic Games has announced that they will be bringing out Unreal Tournament 2014! What is even better is that the game will be 100% free! The game is being built for PC and Mac only with Linux support coming down the line.
Microsoft recently announced that they have acquired the rights to the Gear of War franchise from EPIC Games. Microsoft now has ownership of everything Gears of War, “including rights to all existing and future games, entertainment experiences and merchandise.”
This morning at IFA Berlin NVIDIA showed off for the first time the Unreal Engine 3 flagship demo Epic Citadel running on a Windows RT tablet powered by Tegra. The tablet in question is the ASUS Vivo Tab RT. This tablet features an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 12-core GPU and 2GB of RAM. Check out the video after the jump to see this incredible demo running on a tablet!
I’m sure by now you have heard of Epic Games, they are the creators of the very popular Unreal series, the Unreal Engine that powers many PC games and one of the most popular franchises on the Xbox 360, Gears of War. If you did not know Epic just turned 20 years old (damn that makes me feel old!) and decided to give away a pretty sweet soundtrack. We decided for this week’s Gaming Friday article we would a look back at the past 20 years of Epic Games.
We here at ThinkComputers are very avid gamers. So each Friday we will be covering a game that should help you get through the weekend. The games will range from new games to classics that we still love to play. They also are not limited to just PC games either. If you have a game you think we should cover check out the Gaming Friday thread in the forums.
I know most of our Gaming Friday articles have been about games that are just fun, but hey that’s what Gaming Friday is all about! Bulletstorm is no exception to that! The game is all about killing enemies, but not just that performing moves in combos when killing enemies to get a higher score. Bulletstorm is from the same people who did the Gears of War series so you know it is going to be a great game. Read on to find out all about it!
