Kingston is celebrating 10 years of HyperX. Can you believe that HyperX has been around that long? It makes me feel pretty old! HyperX is of course Kingston’s high performance memory line. Recently they have added the HyperX name to other high performance products like their solid state drives and flash drives. To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of HyperX Kingston has released their 10th Anniversary HyperX Memory Kits. The modules feature an extremely attractive heatspreader, high frequencies, XMP profiles and the heatspreaders are not that large so they will not get in the way of your CPU cooler. Today we are looking at the KHX24C11X3K4/16X kit which is a 16GB kit (4x 4GB) that operates at 2400MHz with timings of 11-13-13 at 1.65V.

This time around we’re taking a look at G.Skill’s TridentX series. Starting at 2133Mhz and going all the way up to 2800Mhz, the TridentX Series is brutally fast. A black and red theme well suited to ASUS’ ROG series or ASRock’s Fatal1ty series, it looks awesome if you’re the kind of person who likes oversized or extreme styling.
The kit G.Skill have sent us is the middle of the spectrum; 2400Mhz, yet it’s only CAS 10 – speeds, with high speeds with such low latency this kit promises to be a strong performer. Lets check it out!

Up to this point the fastest memory I have owned was DDR3-2000. The guys at G.Skill contacted me recently to ask if I was interested in memory even faster than that…of course I was! G.Skill is one of those companies that I knew was out there but I had never really considered their memory in the past, as most I usually purchase from the “household name” companies. But G.Skill is not a newcomer to the memory industry, having been in business building memory since 1989. Today I will be looking at G.Skill’s latest, a DDR3-2400 4GB kit with timings of 9-11-9. This memory has been engineered specifically for the Intel Core i7 860/870 LGA 1156 processor and P55 Express chipset. Of course the memory operates at Intel’s max VDIMM of 1.65v, and it comes with a very nice cooling fan. Read on to check out the G.Skill PIS Series DDR3-2400 memory!
