Corsair is one of the only brands to offer “smart” power supplies where you can monitor various things going on within the power supply during operation. This is about to change as Antec has unveiled their first “smart” power supplies. These new power supplies are called High Current Pro Platinum Grid and will be available in 750W, 850W, 1000W, 1200W and 1300W variants.
Last year Noctua released their NH-L9 series low profile CPU coolers. They were extremely small (37mm) and offered some pretty good cooling as well. Noctua is back with a new low profile cooler that they were showing at Computex. This cooler is just a little bit bigger at 65mm high, but still will fit in compact systems pretty easily.

AMD announced the desktop version of its newest Richland A-series processors and unveiled it to the public for the very first time their upcoming Kaveri processor at the Computex Tradeshow earlier today. Currently the company is shipping its third generation APUs (Temash, Kabini and Richland). APU which is known as the future of computing combine x86 CPU with high performance is considered to be the key strategy of AMD.
If you have still not recovered from the shock of Sony discontinuing its Z series, then it’s time to cheer up since Sony has just announced two flagship Ultrabooks which will surely compensate your loss of Z series. Vaio Pro 11 and Vaio Pro 13 are the two new models each weighing less than the Z series at 1.92 and 2.34 pounds respectively. In fact Sony confesses that it’s virtually the lightest touch screen Ultrabooks ever made. They last much longer on battery life and have an additional sheet battery that promises to double the battery life, giving 14 hours for Pro 11 and 13 hours of usage on Pro 13. Presuming both are faster having Haswell Processors.
We have been a huge fan of Avexir memory since they first came out. Their modules offer great performance, but I’m sure many of you know them for their colorful designs which will really light up the inside of your case. At Computex they are showing a few different memory modules to go with certain motherboards, of course ones that light up and a very unique PCI-Express light accessory.
When you like about all-in-one water coolers I bet Enermax is not a name you think of, but they want to change that. Their first run of liquid CPU coolers were not all that great so they have gone back to the drawing board and have come up with some new designs that they were showing off at Computex. The big change in the cooler is the new SCT (Shunt Channel Technology) which they have used in the newly redesigned blocks.
Sapphire’s Atomic branding is only for the most high-end products and they Atomic product they showed at Computex was definitely no exception. Computex is a great show for new hardware, but it looks like a product that has not been announced yet has been spotted, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760! It is of course the little brother of the GeForce GTX 770 that was announced last week. It looks like the card was at a vendor booth at Computex.
BitFenix’s Prodigy mini-ITX case is probably the most popular mini-ITX case out there. It not only has a sleek design it allows for longer graphics cards and other larger components. Mini-ITX limits you to a single graphics card so BitFenix went back and redesigned the Prodigy to support larger motherboards in the Micro-ATX form factor. At Computex they were showing off this case called the Prodigy M.
