ASUS is showing off their brand new Zenbook Infinity Ultrabook at Computex in Taipei. This Ultrabook has some really great features. The two big ones are that it will be based off Intel’s newly released 4th generation Haswell processors and that it sports Gorilla Glass 3.
A couple of days ago ASUS announced the 31.5-inch PQ31 4K Ultra HD gaming monitor, but it looks like they have an even bigger Ultra HD Display. At Computex they took the 39-inch 4K Ultra HD display out for just a little bit and some photos were taken, this thing is huge!
The Mini-ITX form factor has been extremely popular lately since it is so compact, but still offers great features. MSI has introduced three new LGA1150 Haswell mini-ITX motherboards that are basically the same, but they will be running on different chipsets. These motherboards include the Z87I, B85I and the H87I.
Corsair is showing off a pretty cool case at Computex and something quite different. The Corsair Obsidian Air 540D is a cube-style case that is actually split into two parts. On the left side you have your motherboard and video cards and on the right you have the rest of your components. It is pretty radical, check out the photos!
ASUS has had some pretty cool video card designs over the past couple of years. These include the ARES line and the GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU Mini. The same team that was behind the DirectCU Mini card has a new card that they are showing off at Computex this week. It is the Republic of Gamers GeForce GTX 770 Poseidon, which features a very unique hybrid cooling design.
Want to talk about some fast memory? How about 3000 MHz memory? Well G.SKILL has just announced their fastest DDR3 memory kit. The 32GB (8GBx4) TridentX DDR3 kit operates at 3000 MHz with timings of 12-14-14-35 at 1.65V. This new kit is designed for the latest 4th Generation Intel Core processors and the Z87 chipset.
NZXT has just announced the first new product they will be showcasing at Computex! It is the H230 Silent case. This mid tower case has a great sleek design, which we have become accustomed to from NZXT. They tell us the designers of the case had one goal in mind when creating this case: create an affordable, silent chassis with all of the necessary essentials for a clean, functional build.
It looks like Cougar is will be launching a gaming peripheral line at Computex next week! They are following suite as G.Skill announced they will be announcing gaming products as well. We mainly know Cougar for their cases and power supplies, but now we can add gaming keyboard and mice to the mix. Cougar explains this is an “important milestone for the brand”.
