At this year Computex’s event which was held in Taipei, AeroCool revealed its GT-S Black Edition Full Tower case. It is available in two color combinations i.e. black with a dash of red and white with a dash of blue. The GT-S Black Edition is made with 1.2mm thick SECC and ABS. The top and front panels are highly molded, while the windowed side panels are made for either two 140mm fans or a single 230mm fan. Likewise the same fan is mounted on the front panel whereas the top can hold two 120mm fans or one 140/200/230mm fan. It also includes a 120mm rear exhaust fan and 140mm bottom fan takes care of the ventilation for the case.
Fanless mini-ITX and NUC cases are considered to be the cases in which the body of the cases double up as CPU coolers, but now it seems that the PC users want even more than this, probably complete ATX case which has high volume to passively cool processors with TDP of up to 95 W. A new chassis has been announced for Mini ITX and Micro ATX motherboards by Anidees known as AI-4B. Akasa has revealed a new submissively cooled chassis for Intel’s NUC platform known as the Newton which measures (154mm x 150mm x 47mm) and performs not only as a case but also a fan-less heat-sink for the Intel processor which is linked to the NUC motherboard. In particular, the Akasa Newton is compatible with the Intel D33217GKE or DCP847SKE NUC motherboard, depending on whether you want to have an Intel Core i3-3217-U or a Celeron 847-U respectively.

We have been hearing a lot about Corsair’s Obsidian 900D case, but it looks like the company plans to launch a micro-ATX version called the Obsidian 350D (model: CC-9011029-WW). The case is already up on some e-tailers and some press shots were already leaked. The case is said to measure 450 x 210 x 440 mm and be made of steel with a bushed aluminum front panel. On the side you will find a very large acrylic window and the front of the case features two 5.25-inch drive bays, two USB 3.0 ports and HD audio connections.
