BitFenix announces the Nova chassis – budget evolved. Bitfenix Nova delivers style, performance and silence at an incredibly competitive price. Almost all PC cases have the same overall design. They are in the shape of a tower and our components always go in the same places. Sometimes we see some radical designs on the inside or outside of cases, but not too often. Recently wall-mounted PC’s and PC’s made to look like art have become very popular. We actually covered a few of these custom-built creations in our Case Mod Friday section. Not everyone has the time or the skill to build their own custom case. Well Thermaltake comes to the rescue with their brand new Core P5 Chassis. This chassis is designed for builders and gives you a whole lot of options when it comes to putting together an awesome system. On top of that once you are done the chassis allows you to display your creation or even wall-mount it! Let’s jump in and see what the Core P5 is all about!
The Lian Li PC-Q10WX is very compact, weighing only 2.3kg and measuring 207mm x 277mm x 335mm. Despite its size, its clever layout still offers enough space for a 270mm VGA card, a CPU cooler up to 140mm tall, and a PSU up to 150mm long.
Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd unveils the PC-X510: a mid tower chassis with a tidy, spacious interior segregated into three distinct airflow chambers for optimal cooling and tempered glass to show it off. The PC-X510 has generous allowance for components, supporting as many as eight 2.5″ or 3.5″ drives and eight expansion slots.
Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd announces the PC-Q21 Mini Tower Chassis for Mini-ITX systems. This compact chassis tucks a full computer into a small box. The slot-load slim ODD bay at the top gives legacy optical drives a cool home or holds a modern SSD. There are two PCI expansion slots and more room under them than in previous models. This lets in more air, and accommodates a very flexible bottom-mounted drive sled. Even the front has space enough for a full 2.5″ drive or a 3.5″ drive with shorter graphics cards.
Lian-Li Industrial Co. Ltd today announces the PC-V33. Available in 3 choices: brushed aluminum in silver or black, or internal black with a tempered glass side door. The PC-V33 does not restrict PSU, GPU or main board choice due to size or power consumption: it’s designed to accommodate full-sized gaming hardware in a compact form-factor. Its cube styling makes it a companion you can take with anywhere you need full-sized computing and still have room for a 240 mm water cooling radiator to be mounted inside.
In Win Development Inc., a leading innovator in PC design and multi-winner of the internationally renowned red-dot Design Award, has today announced its new 805 ATX PC chassis. The new 805 chassis features a see-through skeleton structure of aluminum that can be placed anywhere to give 270 degrees of spectacular views thanks to its tempered glass sides and front panel.
BitFenix started a cult-like following with its first original Prodigy Mini ITX computer case when it was first introduced in 2012. The original Prodigy back in 2012 was M-ITX form factor only, but that did not stop custom builders and Modders alike from changing the inside of the spacious case to accept even larger motherboards and custom water loops, the list goes on. After all the case had plenty of room to build in and people took that room and filled it with innovative ideas and parts creating a high demand for the little Cube Cabinet and custom parts to modify it more. BitFenix has now retooled the old case to accept some of the customer’s ideas and expanded to the bigger Micro-ATX form factor and has added 3 more PCI slots for a total of 5 PCI extension slots for SLI and Crossfire. The “Prodigy M” as it is named is a reaction to the amazing success and a few failures of this ground breaking small-cube like computer case.
