Showtable (model) V is one case design for one thing: show the hardware as a piece of art. Featuring one open frame and stunning look, with high contrast colors, this scratch case can show the hardware like you never see before. Perfect for events like we had do with it in 2011 with that GTX 590, the green nvidia and the powder coat black give it a unique look, catching look. It feature custom cables with the same color, floating cages and single frame part.
I wanted a clean looking gaming rig. I watercooled it with two rads and kept the color scheme to Black and White. I used Mayhems Pastel White coolant and it reminded me of the White Coolant that ran through the Android in the first Aliens movie. His name was Ash. I modded it so you can not tell that I have a radiator in the top, fill port up there too and the mesh still closes and the original latching mechanisms work. Also reused the top 200mm fan and put it in the front for a push pull on that Phobya Extreme Rad. Also have a full plexiglass side window.
Just a Fractal Design XL Black Pearl USB3.0 version modded up. Wanted something very simple but eye-catching. Had planned on not having a window, but once I got started…kept adding this and that. Ripped the window in it because everyone I showed build pics to said it would be a shame to not be able to see the interior. Not 100% finished yet. Still got a few odds and ends to get to.
While at CES this year we had the oppurtunity to talk to Bill Owen who is widely known around the PC modding community and owns MNPCTECH. Fractal Design invited him to their booth to show off his Arc Midi Battlefield 3 mod. It was great being able to talk to Bill about the case and about MNPCTECH. Read on to check out the interview.
