The 11-inch and the 13-inch have the same framework but use the recently launched 4th generation mobile Intel core CPU called Haswell.
During the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) on Monday Apple unveiled its brand new Mac Pro workstation. It has one of the most unique designs we have ever seen for a desktop system. Its cylindrical shape is a complete departure from the norm and it sure packs a lot inside as well.
For the curious, we hate breaking your hearts. The much awaited iPhone 5s launch has been delayed due to some technical reasons. According to the sources the launch was due sometime soon this year but now it has been postponed to October due to shortage of retina displays.
Apple’s WWDC is expected to take place next week in San Francisco. Assumptions are that most likely Apple’s notebook line up will get the modifications. Since Intel is also planning to release its latest Haswell processor this week, Apple will come up with some significant upgrades as well.
A spell of rumors have spread online that Apple will be launching a new tablet. Along with much awaited next generation iPhone, iPad and iPad mini it is predicted that the company is working on a giant 12.9-inch screen called the iPad Maxi which will be the biggest tablet display if launched.
Yes you read that right. Apple may be making wrist watches even. There are rumors that Apple may release a smart watch called the iWatch in the third quarter of the year 2014. This surprising story has come out with courtesy of a KGI Securities Analyst who is also of the view that the purpose of iWatch will not only be time telling, or displaying information but it will be something more than that. The iWatch will be useful providing safer user identification and superior health tracking features.
Well Apple’s stock price may have descended but still the company’s oldest computers are setting records. To your surprise the Apple 1 computer manufactured in 1976 was recently sold for $671,400 at an auction held in Germany including all taxes. It broke the record of $640,000 for an Apple 1 computer which was sold last November coincidentally at the same auction house. The reason why it hit the record breaking price of $671,400 could be the scarcity of old leftovers PCs, a deep down interest with the history of computers and aura of Apple and its founders Steve Jobs and Stephen Wozinak. The old Apple 1 was originally sold for $666 which makes $2700 of our time.
If Apple follows their typical release schedule, the new iPhone will be available sometime this summer, and the rumors are already flying about what that’s going to contain. With rival phones from Android stepping up their game, will Apple feel the pressure to do something completely new and spectacular? Maybe it’ll be like the 4S, which made small improvements to the iPhone 4 but didn’t break out of the mold too much. Nobody really knows, as Apple hasn’t provided us with any official information yet, but there are some of the speculated changes.
As we all know of the fact that up till now apple hasn’t announced an important update to any of its hardware since October 2012. But if you are really eager to get you’re hands down on something new the wait might get over soon. Recently heard that the supplies of MacBook Air are fading away from the market due to highly anticipated Worldwide Developer Conference(WWDC) which is right around the corner . Surprisingly most of the major retailers in market are enlisting the MacBook Air as out of stock which is usually the first sign to a refreshed version in a line.
We have had so many rumours about the iPhone 6 that it is hard to keep a track. The latest rumour has it that the iPhone 6 will feature a 4.5 inch edge to edge display screen. The Retina-class true display will certainly attract a large chunk of customers. Some marketing images were recently posted to iPhone-MY.com and that is where we get the idea that the ‘edge’ will be removed all together.
