For those hoping to head into an Apple Store on April 24th on get an Apple Watch it looks like you are out out of luck. An internal memo was sent by Angela Ahrendts, Senior VP of Retail and Online at Apple reveals that the company will NOT offer the watch for in-store purchase on April 24th as previously promised by the company.
Apple’s Watch seems to be a pretty popular product already, according to digital commerce data company Slice Intelligence almost 1 million US consumers have pre-ordered the device. The report that was released on Sunday estimates that 957,000 people had pre-ordered the smartwatch Friday.

On Monday Apple unveiled their latest Macbook, which they touted as their thinnest Macbook yet. Of course all of the Apple fanboys thought it was the best thing ever, but ASUS had something to say about it and their own ZenBook UX305. ASUS North American posted the below photo on their twitter page.
At Apple’s Spring Forward event the company unveiled their thinnest Macbook yet. The new Macbook is 24% thinner than the 11-inch MacBook Air. At only 13.1 mm thick at its largest point it really makes for a thin device. Not only thin the new Macbook is the lightest MacBook ever at only 2 pounds.

Apple has sent out media invitations for an event that is set to take place March 9th. The tagline for the event is “Spring Forward”, which many speculate is a reference to Daylight Savings Time which means more news coming about Apple’s upcoming Watch.
