I would have to say one of the products I was most impressed by this January at CES was Lenovo’s 27-inch Tablet / All-in-One PC. Wait, why I am I calling it a tablet? Well because it is, unlike most larger all-in-one’s it actually has a battery so it does not need to be connected to power at all times. Being that it is a tablet the stand allows it to easily be put down flat for a full tablet-top tablet experience. Don’t worry though the Horizon is still made for getting work done too. It is packed with an Intel Core i7-3537U, NVIDIA GeForce GT620M, 8 GB of DDR3 memory, 1TB hard drive, 720p webcam, 802.11 b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth 4.0. Of course the unit is also one large 27-inch 1080p display! This is a product that can act as a simple work machine, family computer or even a touch-gaming device. Let’s check it out!
MSI has just announced their Adora24 All-in-One PC. As you can guess it is a 24-inch unit that is made for both professional as well as personal use. For starters you have two processor options: Intel Core i3-3120M 2.5Ghz and Intel Core i5-32300M 2.6Ghz as well as NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M graphics.
It seems like the big tablet / AIO market has become one of the main interests of many PC and device makers. We can well agree with the fact when Samsung announced it ATIV Q tablet which is a 13 inch convertible slate running both Windows 8 and Android 4.2 and now it looks like that HP is has the same plan cooking in its mind. Yes! It’s true; HP is planning to move on with its own line of devices with another major desktop AIO.
We are always looking forward to see what this giant company has to give us next. This time Samsung unveiled three new Windows 8 PCs under the brand of ATIV which include ATIV Book 9 Plus, ATIV Book 9 Lite and ATIV One 5 Style. These were launched at an event held in London.
Ultra-Widescreens have not really caught on just yet, but LG sure thinks they will and has created the first all-in-one ultra-widescreen desktop using their EA93 29-inch Ultra-widescreen display. While Antec may have been one of the first to get into the all-in-one cooling game, their units proved to be “just ok” and nothing to really write home about. Well at Computex this are unveiling two new all-in-one watercooling unit, the Kühler H2O 1250 and Kühler H2O 650. Both coolers support the latest CPU socket types which include LGA115x, LGA1366, LGA2011, AM3+/AM3, and FM2/FM1.
HP has officially announced the all in one HP Envy Rove 20. First Sony released the Tap 20, Lenovo tagged along with its Horizon and now HP has come up with three new gadgets. It’s an all in one touch screen that you can actually grab and carry around anywhere from room to room. It’s a tablet PC with a 20 inch touch screen. An added advantage is its push button at the back which releases a hinge so you don’t have to open the stand with your hand. This spring-loaded frame folds flat in the frame behind. It weighs 11.86 pounds which can be considered portable but at the sometime it’s a half pound heavier than the Sony’s Tap 20. Screen resolution is 1080p which is extremely smooth allowing you to operate it as more of a tablet or a twenty first century board game machine.
