The score of 3DMark 11 for the reference design of this GeForce GTX 780 Ti graphics card has already been revealed on the XtremeSystems forums through a forum member. Some screenshots have also been provided with this and they clearly show that the GeForce GTX 780 Ti is faster than the competing Radeon R9 290X. We are labeling its performance on the basis of the scores and comparisons with the synthetic benchmarks show that it is faster but we can’t conclude anything about the gaming results.
It looks like PConline is one of the first media outlets to get their hands on an AMD R9 290X graphics card. They have run their first round of tests on the card and it looks like it is no as much of a “Titan Killer” as everyone thought! PConline has run the card through both 3DMark’s Fire Strike and 3DMark 11’s Extreme benchmark.
Futuremark has updated 3DMark 11 to version 1.0.4. This new updates makes 3DMark 11 fully compatible with Windows 8. This update also addresses compatibility issues and a few uncommon bugs. This update does not effect scores so scores from this version can be compared to 3DMark 11 v1.0.3. You can download the update from Futuremark directly or if you have 3DMark 11 installed using Steam it will update on the restart of the steam client.
