Start Button is back in Windows 8.1!

Our very old start button is back again, but this time you will find a long list of modifications to go with it. Windows 8.1 will be available for as a preview in a few weeks time and shall be released before this year ends. Remember this will be a free update! Just wait and see what it has got for you.

In much awaited windows 8.1 update you will find the new start button, which you will not only find on the left bottom of your desktop screen but also at the bottom of app switcher. Earlier the screen which displayed as one whole full screen image has now transformed into a new image view where you can share your screen 50:50 between different apps. It turns into this amazing cloud powered photo frame.

A huge range of snap displays are available for the metro style apps where you can operate 4 apps on the screen in various widths restricted to 320 pixels maximum. Windows 8.1 will also provide more diversified options for business, work and play. It has got more than 70,000 Metro/Windows 8 style apps in their store. Besides this the touch keyboard has also been modified in a way that it now comes with an autosuggest capability and supports new gestures.

Here is good news for all those small users who have Windows RT device like Surface RT; you will be very excited to know that windows 8.1 would be coming to your device as well.

As expected, Microsoft will be upgrading the Sky Drive integration. Which includes features like auto camera uploads and more back up options. As well as enhanced tab sync.
