Final Thoughts
This iPhone case isn’t for everyone; it is for people that need a lot of protection for their iPhone. Most likely people who are doing some sort of sport like biking, rock climbing, etc. The thick case really provides great protection and you really don’t have to worry about anything if you happen to drop your phone. I would say you could even throw your phone against the wall and it would be fine with this case. I also like it that Speck included a screen protector and cleaning cloth.
The case is very versatile and still gives you access to all of the connections on the iPhone. Also since the bottom part flips back it makes it easy to use with dock connectors and speaker systems.
There were a few things I didn’t like about the case, first it was a bit bulky but that is expected with a rugged case. The other thing that bothered me was that when I was texting part of the case would always get in the way of my fingers. Maybe it was because I have big fingers, but it was annoying.
Right now the ToughSkin sells for $34.95 directly from Speck which is a great deal considering all the protection you get and the included belt clip holder. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Speck ToughSkin iPhone Case a 9 out of 10 score.
