Sources Point to July Launch for Windows 10

Typically when Microsoft releases a new version of Windows we see a Release To Manufacture (RTM) version of Windows that ships in August and then the official version would be released by October. We know this will not be the case as Microsoft already announced that Windows 10 will be shipping this summer.

Windows 10

Sources say that we will actually see a retail version of Windows 10 in July! That means all Windows 7 and 8.1 customers will be able to upgrade.

Windows 10 is said to have the best features of both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 and of course they are bringing back the start menu. The operating system will also ship with DirectX 12 so if you want to play around with the API and new DirectX 12 games it is the logical choice to upgrade.
