Hardware Installation
As far as accessories go all that comes with this case is your mounting hardware (screws) and a small user’s guide.
As with most of our case installs the first thing we are going to install is our motherboard. It goes in quite easily and there is more than enough room to work with since we do not have any optical drive bays / cages.
Our solid state drives are next. I opted to install them in the removable SSD mounts. So we just take them out of the case, install our drives, and them simply reinstall them. It really is that easy!
To install your power supply you just slide it in from the backside of the case. It goes in quite easily and you just secure it with the included screws.
Now it is time to run all of our cables and connect everything. With all of my cables connected things looked a little bit messy. There are quite a few cable tie-down points, but no cable ties were included with the case. Luckily I had some and cleaned up the cables a bit, it would have been nice if the cable ties were included with the case though.
Closing the back of the case and going back to the main section of the case we can install our graphics card. I decided to install the longest card I had on hand, which was the Zotac GeForce GTX 980 Ti AMP!. As you can see it went in not problem and we even had room to spare!
With everything installed you can see we have a very clean build. Minus not having the zip ties we did not run into a single issue during our installation.
When you power on your system you’ll see the three red LED fans on the front of the case light up. They are pretty bright and really set the case off. There is however no way to really turn the lights off, which can be annoying if you have your system in your bedroom.
