SilverStone Redline RL06 Pro Case Review

When you hear the name SilverStone you probably think of their Raven or Temjin series cases, I know that I do. While SilverStone does have this very nice high-end cases, they also offer many value series cases as not everyone has a few hundred dollars to shell out on a case. The motto of the Redline series is “Taking affordable enthusiast PCs to the limit” and the RL06 Pro seems to be the most feature-packed case in the series. This ATX case comes with four cooling fans (3 LED, 1 normal), a large side panel windows, stylish power supply cover, room for 5 hard drives, and support for long graphics cards. You get all of this for $74.99, is it worth it? Read on as we find out!

Special thanks to SilverStone for providing us with the Redline RL06 Pro Case to review.

Finally on one side of the case there is a paragraph describing the case and the same list of specifications we listed for you above. For those wondering this is the SST-RL06BR-PRO version of the case.

Opening the box up we can see that the case inside is protected by large pieces of Styrofoam and is inside a plastic bag. The side panel window also has plastic film on it to protect it. We’ve seen cases that are not packaged or protected well and they end up coming to us damaged, this was not the case with the RL06.
