Sharkoon Announces REX Water Cooling Edition Case

The portfolio of the PC cases by Sharkoon has been expanded recently with the addition of the REX Water Cooling Edition Midi Tower which is the new chassis for micro-ATX main boards. The case has been adequately designed to provide ample of room in the top part of the case for the installation of a 120 mm or 240 mm water cooling radiators. This shows the ability of the midi tower to support high performance cooling solutions.

Talking about the physical aspect, the case is not so much different looking on the outside and resembles the infamous REX series. However the same cannot be concluded about the insides which have been revised to a great extent or rather completely. To get a little peek of the interior, there is a tinted acrylic window for this view. You can also pretty easily go along with the installation of a tower cooler with a width up to 205 mm and a maximum height up to 165 mm. There is a proper cable management system which prevents the chaotic situation of tangled wires.

The Rex Water Cooling Edition, which will be priced at 54.90 Euros, is nothing like the previous generations of the traditional mATX cases. This one has five slots for expansion cards and supports the installation of up to two dual-slot graphics cards which have a maximum length of up to 40 cm. Behind the front bezel which is mesh, there are two 120 mm Low Noise blue LED fans and the back of the case already has an additional 120 mm LED fan which has been preinstalled. The two 5.25″ drive bays can also allow optical drives to be installed without the need for any screws and the HDD rack system is sufficient for up to three 3.5″ hard drives or 2.5″ hard drives/SSDs.
