Halcon GS-6050 II Overview
The Halcon is definitely one of the smaller mid tower cases that I have seen lately, the official dimensions are 19.09” (L) x 7.48” (W) x 18.31” (H). The case is all black and currently that is the only color available.
Starting at the front of the case you have three 5.25-inch drive bays. The case uses all mesh bay covers and the top bay cover is actually a optical drive cover, so you are able to keep that clean look even if you have a drive installed. At the center of the case is a 3.5-inch external bay, which is something you really don’t see on cases anymore. Below that is a large mesh section that has a 120mm intake fan behind it.
At the top of the case you will find 4 USB ports, three of them are USB 2.0 and there is a single USB 3.0 port. You will also find audio connections and power and reset buttons on the top of the case.
Moving back there is a large rectangular ventilated section that has two 120mm fans installed. The side panel of the case features a large ventilated section and a small triangular window. There are two more 120mm fans on the ventilated section. The ventilated section is pretty large and I would have liked to see some type of filter here.
On the back of the case there is another 120mm fan and two small water cooling holes. The holes are not that large though. Your power supply is going to be mounted on the bottom of the case and there are thumbscrews on each side panel. On the bottom of the case are 4 rubber feet, a large filter and a breather hole for your hard drives. The filter on the bottom can be removed, but not that easily.
