Sapphire’s entire Radeon R9 and R7 lineup has been leaked by VideoCardz. This lineup includes 13 graphics cards! Some of the more interesting cards are the Vapor-X, Dual-X and Toxic series cards. The R9 and R7 series cards will hit retail shelves this week and most reviews will go live tomorrow.
Sapphire Radeon R9 280X
Of course the 280X is a Radeon HD 7970 GE rebrand so we are sure you know the specs. The card is powered by the Tahiti XT GPU with 2048 stream processors. Sapphire will have three R9 280X cards, the Toxic, Dual-X and Vapor-X. All three cards have 3GB of GDDR5 memory across a 384-bit interface.
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X
The R9 270X is powered by the Curacao XT GPU, which is a pure Pitcairn replacement that has 1280 stream processors. Just like the 280X series Sapphire will have three cards. The Dual-X has clocks of 1020 MHz / 1070 MHz and the memory is at 1400 / 5600 MHz. The Vapor-X has clocks of 1050 MHz / 1100 MHz and the memory is slightly overclocked at 1450 / 5800 MHz. The Toxic card will have a base clock of 1100 MHz and the memory will be running at 1500 / 6000 MHz. The boost clock has yet to be announced.
Sapphire Radeon R7 260X
The R7 260X is powered by the Bonaire GPU that has 896 stream processors. It will have 2 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 128-bit interface. The card is clocked at 1050 MHz and it does not have a boost clock. The card has some pretty fast memory clocks at 1620 / 6600 MHz.
Sapphire Radeon R7 250 & R7 240
Sapphire will be releasing six R7 cards, which will include two 250’s and four 240’s. Both cards are based on the Oland GPU, but the configuration is different on each card. The R7 250 uses the Oland XT with 384 stream processors and the R7 240 uses the Oland Pro with 320 stream processors.
VideoCardz has provided a very nice graph of all of the cards from Sapphire.
