Sapphire’s “Atomic” branding is known for their very high-end products. We have seen this branding on some of the first ever graphics cards fitted with factory liquid cooling solutions. Well Sapphire is bringing this branding to its motherboards with the Sapphire Atomic 990FX.
The Sapphire 990FX is a socket AM3+ ATX motherboard that comes will a full-coverage water block pre-installed. The water block will not only cool the motherboard’s VRM’s, but the CPU itself and the chipset. The board itself will feature three PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slots, four DDR3 memory slots, six SATA 6GB/s ports, Gigabit Ethernet and 8-channel audio.
No word yet on a release, pricing or if it will come with an AiO unit.
