Pictures of the first custom Radeon RX 480 have emerged. The card happens to be Sapphire’s Radeon RX 480 NITRO. The card features a brand new cooler shroud with a dual-slot fan design. On the side of the card is a Sapphire logo that will light up. The colors of this illumination will change depending on the fan speed, GPU temperature, or custom-profile configured by the user.
Most Radeon RX 480 cards will be released June 29th and will be equipped with 8GB of GDDR5 memory. There will be 4GB models available, but availability of these cards will be dependent on AIB’s.
In addition to the NITRO card a render of Sapphire’s own reference design was revealed. It looks like the fan shroud will be changed from black to white, it will have a backplate, and the Radeon logo on the side will be replaced with a Sapphire logo.
